What do I receive?
Your subscription gives you access to the full PlainSight Ready dashboard, PlainSight workbook template, sample files and guidance.
How will I receive PlainSight?
After subscribing, sign in to My PlainSight on the website. Your subscription provides access to the hosted dashboard while active.
Is this a subscription?
Yes. PlainSight Ready is A$49/month + GST and provides access while your subscription remains active.
Does PlainSight store my customer and sales data?
PlainSight Ready processes the files locally in the browser. It does not upload the selected source files to PlainSight servers.
Do I need spreadsheet experience?
No specialist spreadsheet experience is required. The supplied workbook and guided setup explain what information to add and check.
Can more than one employee use it?
PlainSight access is linked to the subscribed account. If your business needs access for additional employees, contact us so we can help with the right account setup.
Will my data always match my accounting system?
PlainSight reports from the source files supplied by the customer. The purchaser remains responsible for checking the source data, mappings and outputs before relying on the results.
How much data can I upload?
PlainSight does not impose a fixed row limit for the full dashboard. Performance depends on the size and complexity of your workbook, browser and computer. Larger datasets may take longer to load, filter and export, so we recommend including the reporting history you need and allowing additional processing time for larger files.
Is setup or data preparation included?
PlainSight Ready is a self-service reporting product. The supplied workbook template, sample files, guided setup and FAQs are included. Data cleaning, file preparation, customisation, training and ongoing reporting support are not included unless separately agreed.
What do I need to use PlainSight?
You need a desktop or laptop computer and a current web browser. Your customer and sales data should be added to the supplied PlainSight workbook, with customer information in the Customers tab and transactions in the Sales tab. Upload the completed .xlsx workbook to PlainSight in your browser.
Are future versions included?
Yes. While your subscription is active, you access the current hosted version of PlainSight, so updates and improvements to the hosted product are available without downloading a replacement version.
Is PlainSight accounting or financial advice?
No. PlainSight is a reporting aid and does not provide accounting, financial, tax, legal or professional advice.
What is the refund policy?
PlainSight Ready is a monthly digital subscription. You can cancel future renewal at any time. Refund rights are governed by the Australian Consumer Law and the applicable subscription terms. This does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If PlainSight has a major problem, is materially different from its description, or cannot be made to work as represented, you may be entitled to a refund or replacement. For a minor problem, we will first try to fix the issue within a reasonable time. Contact hello@plainsightreporting.com with your order email, business name and a description of the issue.
